I would like to hear if anyone knows who Brad Scott is and what do you think of him?
I have been listing to him for a while now, I really like what he has to say, but I have a friend out there that says hes not Biblical on some things he teaches,.
I would just like some other points of view.
Thanks..

I had not heard of him so I did the google thing. He has some fairly tarnished associations: Monte Judah, Eddie Chumney and Nehemiah Gordon appear to be among his associates- these gentlemen are well known for dividing believers against each other for the purpose of drawing followers to themselves, rather than reasoning and discussing their differences with credible scholars, they choose to prey upon the uneducated to pad their own organizations.
His theology, from what I have seen, looks reasonably solid and not terribly different from what you will find in more mainstream teachings, with the probable exception of the use of the sacred name of Adonai and following a divergent calendar (again, for the purpose of causing division and drawing people away).
There is no question that you can learn a lot of good things from him; but there is potentially some dangerous stuff there as well. I would advise you to use caution; but if you know me at all by now, that advice goes for anything you read outside of the binding of the Scriptural texts, myself included. It is healthy to hear the views of varying positions in your pursuit of truth; but do so in humility and prayer, not grabbing on to the first idea that sounds reasonable, or the next one that is more eloquently delivered; but holding the Word of God and the process of drawing near to Him, as the guide of truth.

Thank you Mark, Brad Scott is coming here to Spokane WA March 7th, I think we are going, What I like about him is how he takes the abstract word then goes all the way back to the hebrew word like the word (remember) it means to ack on behalf of someone. I am sure you know all this already, it was neat. I didn't know our words are abstract , this guy on another forum told me about him. I listen to some of his teachings on God channel. I was invited over to a lady's house that teaches how Brad Scott teaches but they have Sabbath to late at 4pm they start reading , thats kind of late right? I think Sabbath is over by 4 or 5pm. When I wanted to be SDA but after them saying Jesus is Michael and how they Love Ellan white a lot, maybe a bit to much , I changed my mind I am not going to bet my soul on something I will never believe, and I would have joined because a lot of them are veggie, and some have a lot of Messinaic views also, some things they teach the same things.. I might be uneducated to the word of God, but I am learning a lot from many people. I never take the first thing I hear, so many people are like that , the reason why I say this is because I seen a good few divorced Mothers become Mormons because the LDS church will help them out, they may not even believe what they teach.... and there not the only churches that do this either, the SDA is another one.. Its not worth losing your soul over thats for sure, if you know something is wrong and do it anyways its sin,, (I think its something like this) Praise Adoni Thank you again, bri'gette..

I went to hear Brad Scott he came to Spokane last month,
He was wonderful and so so nice. There were a lot of people there with very different views some I never even heard of. and every different person thinks they are right, Brad told everyone don't believe just him find out for ourselfs look it up in the bible.
I believe in a lot of what Brad talked about , however I didn't believe in a lot of what some people were telling me. Like the Sabbath being how the moon sets or something like that.
I had a great time with my kids an I, learning..

I have studied with Brad for a few years now... His gift is in understanding Hebrew and I have been blessed by him and some of his students too...
He is very approachable and if you have questions he will answer emails and I have spoken with him on the phone once...
if I was judged by some of the people I went to a service with or studied with or anything... well, I have enough failings of my own, don't add those of others to my boat, it might sink..
(Moderator edit, please don't post links that go against the rules of the site. Brad Scott has some varnished teachings) here is his website it has a lot of good teaching on it..
