After visiting the website of the messianic international bureau (a very good one by the way) i found that our messianic bible contains the books of maccabees and ecclesiastes. Is that true?? Are these books biblical? Is there any proof that these books are biblical and why didn´t Luther take them.
Im grateful for any answer.
May peace and blessings be upon all of us in the holy name of the only saviour Yeshua.

My personal opinion is that Ecclesiastes is certainly canonical but Maccabees is not, yet both are good for instruction. Maccabees especially is good as a historical record.

Ok thank you very much for this but do you know of any proof for ecclesiastes being canonical.
