In this week's reading it is interesting to see the physical requirements for the priest that ministers before YHVH... "Speak unto Aaron, saying, Whosoever he be of thy seed in their generations that hath any blemish, let him not approach to offer the bread of his G'd. For whatsoever man he be that hath a blemish, he shall not approach: a blind man, or a lame, or he that hath a flat nose, or any thing superfluous, Or a man that is brokenfooted, or brokenhanded, Or crookbackt, or a dwarf, or that hath a blemish in his eye, or be scurvy, or scabbed, or hath his stones broken; No man that hath a blemish of the seed of Aaron the priest shall come nigh to offer the offerings of YHVH made by fire: he hath a blemish; he shall not come nigh to offer the bread of his G'd." Lev. 21:17-21 Any thoughts? In the this week's reading we find Leviticus 23 which outlines the Moedim (appointed times), which is the holy calendar of YHVH our Elohim. This is the calendar by which the Church should be operating by but they have adopted the pagan holy days. The very beginning of YHVH's Moedim is Shabbat/The Sabbath is clearly stated do be the seventh day from sundown to sundown, but Christianity in large has honored another weekday that YHVH has not commanded. Currently, the next up and coming holy day in the Moedim is found Leviticus 23:15-21, and is know by the name; Shavuot/Pentecost. Notice in chapter 24 of the reading following passage... "Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I am the YHVH your G'd." - Leviticus 24:22 We see again that it does not matter if you are Jew, or Gentile..."Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country". Please share your insights to this week's reading. Shalom, Reuel

Shalom, Reuel The 'church' has, largely, taken the Biblical feast days but has sinned in that it has then tried to align the celebration of those feasts in such a way as to block out pagan feast days. For example, Easter now runs instead of Passover, Christmas instead of Chanukah, Harvest instead of Tabernacles etc. What we need to do is to teach the people that they have been subjected to 2000 years of wrong teaching - but we'll not correct that overnight. Let's get the feasts right and the theology and Law will fall into place easier

Yeshua is the bread of life. I'll comment on this some more after I've eaten this weeks portion. Shalom, Samuel

Welcome, and shalom DoveMinistriesUK! Amen, and amen brother. In the ministry that I am involved with we have found that the Pesach Seder is one of the most powerful tools to introduce this teaching to our confused Christian brethren. This last Pesach we had a little under 200 people at the seder, and many of them walked away amazed at the blessing of celebrating these set-apart times. YHVH has given us the resources...we must use them with all of our heart, soul, and strength! Amen. How can the bread of life truly be offered through us if we are not perfect towards Him... "Let your heart therefore be perfect with YHVH our G'd, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day." - 1Kings 8:61 "For the eyes of YHVH run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him." - 2Chronicles 16:9 To serve Him, and to manifest the bread of life we must be without blemish, and this can only be accomplished through the cleansing, and the rebirth that Mashiach provides making us into a new creation. He has demanded this from the beginning... "And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, YHVH appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty G'd; walk before me, and be thou perfect." - Genesis 17:1 Shalom chaverim, Reuel
