John 15 : 13 - 15 He is our Lord, Savior, Friend

There is a song that says "The greatest love that I have ever known is that you(Jesus) considered me your friend. That is a great love my friends, and here it is in his own words.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

John15:14 Ye are my friends, if you do whatsoever I command you.

John15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his Lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

What a friend we have in Jesus!

I have always felt one of the greatest examples we have of G-d's love, and grace is to picture the scene in the morning on the beach when Yeshua prepared breakfast for his deciples and restored Kefa
after he had denied him.

Joh 21:1 After these things, Yeshua revealed himself again to the talmidim at the sea of Tiberias. He revealed himself this way.
Shim`on Kefa, T'oma called Didymus, Natan'el of Kanah in the Galil, and the sons of Zavdai, and two others of his talmidim were together. Shim`on Kefa said to them, "I'm going fishing." They told him, "We are also coming with you." They immediately went out, and entered into the boat. That night, they caught nothing.
But when day had already come, Yeshua stood on the beach, yet the talmidim didn't know that it was Yeshua.
Yeshua therefore said to them, "Children, have you anything to eat?" They answered him, "No." He said to them, "Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you will find some." They cast it therefore, and now they weren't able to draw it in for the multitude of fish. That talmid therefore whom Yeshua loved said to Kefa, "It's the Lord!" So when Shim`on Kefa heard that it was the Lord, he wrapped his coat around him (for he was naked), and threw himself into the sea. But the other talmidim came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits away), dragging the net full of fish. So when they got out on the land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread. Yeshua said to them, "Bring some of the fish which you have just caught." Shim`on Kefa went up, and drew the net to land, full of great fish, one hundred fifty-three; and even though there were so many, the net wasn't torn. Yeshua said to them, "Come and eat breakfast." None of the talmidim dared inquire of him, "Who are you?" knowing that it was the Lord. Then Yeshua came and took the bread, gave it to them, and the fish likewise. This is now the third time that Yeshua was revealed to his talmidim, after he had risen from the dead. So when they had eaten their breakfast, Yeshua said to Shim`on Kefa, "Shim`on, son of Yonah, do you love me more than these?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you." He said to him, "Feed my lambs." He said to him again a second time, "Shim`on, son of Yonah, do you love me?" He said to him, "Yes, Lord; you know that I have affection for you." He said to him, "Tend my sheep."
He said to him the third time, "Shim`on, son of Yonah, do you have affection for me?" Kefa was grieved because he asked him the third time, "Do you have affection for me?" He said to him, "Lord, you know everything. You know that I have affection for you." Yeshua said to him, "Feed my sheep. Most certainly I tell you, when you were young, you dressed yourself, and walked where you wanted to. But when you are old, you will stretch out your hands, and another will dress you, and carry you where you don't want to go." Now he said this, signifying by what kind of death he would glorify God. When he had said this, he said to him, "Follow me."

Now THAT is Love............................
