So much to learn... so little time. Luke 21:24 24They will fall by the sword and will be taken as prisoners to all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled on by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled. My mind is foggy... putting together a paper that deals with the Biblical Holidays, the Prophecies regarding the the Return of Yeshua, descriptions of the Kingdom and such has truly been exhausting... So I need help. What EXACTLY is the time of the Gentiles, and how will we know when they will be fulfilled. Cross references to any scripture you can find me on this would be amazing. And if you wanna laugh real good... here, read the "prophecies" of the "prophet" Joseph Smith. scriptures.lds.org/dc/45Read beginning verse 16. Gosh its so . I cant believe people believe this guy! ~Shalom~

From the Christian dispensationalist position, the "times of the gentiles" suggests that there is a period of time when God's chosen people is open to all nations otherthan Israel (sort of an open-enrollment). In the context of Yeshua's prophecy, it is talking of the times (more than one period of time: times) when the Jewish people do not have political control of Jerusalem. It is not a positive thing; but represents God's judgment upon the people of Israel for their disobedience; but is looking forward to the time (when the times of the gentiles are fulfilled) when Israel will walk in and all nations will come to Jerusalem and learn from the Jew how they ought to live in obedience to God (Isaiah 2:1-4).
