She would have been there had they allowed women to compete in 72' However, she did train with, and was friends with many of the athletes who were murdered in Munich. I think she hit it right on the head regarding Speilberg's desiring this to be a "prayer of peace". Mr Speilberg and other liberal Jews of influence need to look no further than their own Siddurim to find prayers of peace.
