This is a rendition of a buletin from my Myspace page. i would have copied and pasted, but it was deleted before i thought to put it here... "Syrian Flight 147" A Syrian airliner comes across the Med Sea towards the Mid East. upon their approach, they lose an engine....... "This is Syrian flight 147, we have lost an engine and need somewhere to land in the Middle East other than Israel. Can anyone help?" Silence........ Again: "This is Syrian flight 147, we have lost an engine, and a second one is failing. We will crash! We need somewhere to land in the Middle East other than Israel. Does anyone hear me???" Silence........ At this time they have lost both engines.... "This is Syrian flight 147, we have lost two engines! A third is failing and we're losing altitude! We need somewhere to land in the Middle East! EVEN ISRAEL!!! Can anyone help???" A voice comes over the intercom... "Syrian 147, this is Tel Aviv Intl Tower. We can help you. please reply." Pilot: "Allah be praised!!! Please instruct us for our approach! What shall we do???" Tel Aviv Tower: "Syrian 147, this is Tel Aviv, can you speak Hebrew? Please reply." A momentary silence followed by a hesitant, "No Tel Aviv... no one here can speak Hebrew." Tel Aviv Tower: "Syrian 147, this is Tel Aviv, please, repeat after me: 'Yit'gaddal va yit'kadash sh'meh rabba...' I would have enjoyed this more if it didn't remind me of my grandfather's funeral. Still funny though
