I have found that Hebrew is an Ebonic language. So that was a relief!
So I know there is some way to understand Hebrew that is not going to be taught in books. I have found one sight where the guy tells you about understanding Hebrew in real life.
I have ordered three books about learning Hebrew. The first one did not contain the secret. I am hopeful about the other two.
When learning Japanese, after the teacher explained that it was spoken just like Ebonics (the way verbs are used) I was able to figure out the secret and speak it so correctly, they would sit there amazed. (Emphasize just as you would Ebonics. Subjects more important than verbs, if you know what I mean. )
So now I am looking at Hebrew which like all Ebonic languages is CVCV and puts the verb in the correct place.
Anybody know the secret of reading or speaking Hebrew?

Beyond living in Eretz Yisrael...I don't think there are any major shortcuts, only various ways to make it more interesting so that the mind is unlocked to better absorb the info.
Shalom chaver,

:)If there are no Hebrew classes offerred in your area, you might want to check out JudaicaWebstore.com. They have a number of Hebrew learning software packages and some Hebrew word processing software as well. If your blessed enough to be in a congregation that has classes, your instructor might find some of this material valuable.
