I have been struggling to stay hopeful lately for faithless people. This passage in Mark has motivated me so I just want to share.
"Then they came to Him, bringing a paralytic who was carried by four men. And when they could not come near Him because of the crowd, they uncovered the roof where He was. So when they had broken through, they let down the bed on which the paralytic was lying. When Yeshua saw their faith, He said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven" Mark 2:3-5
This hit home for me because this man, who could not get to Yeshua on His own, had friends who literally carried Him there. They were so determined that they tore up the house to get their friend to Yeshua. Finally, it was because of the faith of His friends, not the paralytic man's faith, that He was forgiven.
This is my new motivation in prayer for people who can't seem to find their way to G-d on their own. I know eventually they have to make their own choice, but in the meantime, I will keep dragging them in front of Him in prayer reminded my faith counts for something.
