Some of you might know me from CF MJ.. Yep it is me. :-*Been invited to post here so I thought I would give it a try.
For those who do not know me, let me say that this has been a fifty year journey with Him who has never given up on me even when I gave up on Him after a few hiccups on the road. I have been blessed to learn about the Sabbath in the United Church sunday school at the early age of 6. Teacher couldn't answer me when I ask "then why are we not keeping it?" when going through the ten commandments.
Later I ask God and we talked in church, when out through the north window a light shone around about me, and I felt His presence. It never left me. I continued on my quest. I searched high and low...listening to all the gurus around, studying bible with different congregations and church organizations, attending different churches, and averaged about 3 VBS per summer break. Yeah I was weird that way. Couldn't understand the difficulty that the professed were having with the walk. But now I am the professed trying to climb the steep and narrow path. I have become more tolerance in my old age.
It was on CF that I was told that I might find my answers in MJ. So I went and have been asking ever since. There is a lot of things I believe, love eschatology especially on how the feasts are a shadow of things to come, living in the wilderness of real people with little contact in the real world with fellow believers, so here I come looking for fellowship.
Yeah I know, I have been on forums long enough to know, that the salt shaker needs to be close at hand. I will be presenting what I have come to understand at this point. Hope it blesses you and challenges you to rethink and challenge me back with another look at a different angle. I promise I will not cry.
