What do you think? In regards to the discussion of Evolution. Does the fact that the majority of the Church has forgotten the fourth commandment have anything to do with men forgetting that YHVH (G-d) is the creator? Take a look at …
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the Sabbath of YHVH (the L-rd) thy G'd: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days YHVH (the L-rd) made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore YHVH (the L-rd) blessed the Sabbath day, and hallowed it.”
Since the fourth commandment points to the creation, has Christianity shot itself in the foot? Any thoughts?

I believe that disregarding the fourth commandment could definately be a factor. Anyone who places a scientific theory above the tested commandments of G-d should re-evaluate their faith.
Has christianity shot itself in the foot? I think that the churches that tolerate this type of teaching have.
What Christian denominations teach evolution?

Welcome to the forums Samuel!
Although many churches do teach evolution to be friends with the world...Specifically, I am suggesting that because most of the "Christian Church" has disregarded this commandment is one of the reasons that the teaching of Evolution has become so prominent. So, although many in the "Church" fight against the theory of evolution...they are guilty of it being propagated because they have rejected the commandments of YHVH our Elohim.
Shalom in Yeshua,

I agree completely and I have long thought myself that if God's law as described in the fourth commandment had been followed there would have been less room for theories of evolution to develop. Satan is a crafty master of deception and he destroys foundations in order to crumble the whole truth.
I have to confess that I have started to see science and technology as tools of Satan. God can turn anything to useful purpose to serve His will. The prevelant worship of S&T with its attendant focus on materialism leads inexorably to loss of spritual discernment and entrapment in the things of this world.
