I have been searching the , praying and searching the internet (being 7000 miles away from home makes it difficult to find answers) and I have come across a passage in Isaiah, "One will say, ‘I am the LORD’s’; Another will call himself by the name of Jacob; Another will write with his hand, ‘The LORD’s,’ And name himself by the name of Israel." So it seems as though G'd is telling me to embrace and identify myself as Jewish, as I am but was raised outside of the Jewish community. Has anyone been down this particular path? Dave

From what I can tell, what you are talking about is all part of the end times scenario. His people returning. The ingathering. I do not know whether all or many or some the so-called Gentiles (at least called that by some) who are also entering in are genetic descendents (and just don't know it) or not; but that is a distinct possibility. But all the prophecies speak of this return, and those of the Second Temple period who knew scripture were very aware of this, much more aware than most of the church today is.

It has been interesting these last few months. There were different random things that have pointed me this way. I am now trying to learn. I am reading the with a fiery passion. It is speaking to me in ways that it never has before. The problem that I have is my present location. But even when I get home, there don't seem to be many synagogues in my area. I found one that is about a half hour away, but I'm not sure about it. Here is the link to their website: beitshalom.homestead.com/If anyone could check it out and let me know if it is of a solid Jewish foundation, I would greatly appreciate it. I would really like some help to guide me through my growth and understanding. Any advise would be much appreciated. שלום עלכם בשם ישוה המשיח

After reading their doctrinal statement, I certainly wouldn't have any problem going there to at least check them out. You might e-mail them and aske if they might join this forum. That would allow a venue where you could evaluate what they believe in the interum. Alternatively, you might just e-mail them to hopefully get to know them a little.

PS: No one who lives in a place called Kalamazoo can be all bad.
