Hi everyone!
Needless to say from the cheesy subject title, I'm a Canuck (that's Western Canadian for all you who may not know).
Let's see... what else can I say?
I'm currently what some call an "out of church Christian" or "wilderness Christian". Mainly because where I live (Sardis/Chilliwack, British Columbia) there are no Messianic Congregations. Plus I just have become jaded with the business of Christianity. That is to say, when I look at what it was like in Acts and I look at it now... WOW!!! I mean YIKES!!!
Anyway, I'll try not to let any bad attitude through in my posts, which really isn't that hard since I am quite hopeful about the future of Christ's Bride. However, there does need to be a serious restoration. And I'm not talking about a restoration of Hebrew roots, or signs and wonders, etc.; although these are good things. I'm moreso talking about a restoration to Jesus Himself. So... I'm doing my best to see the Spirit work this restoration in me personally and hopefully in all the brothers and sisters around me.
So... having said all that, let me say I'm here primarily because it's a Messianic forum, so, for me, it will be easier to focus on real spiritually relevant issues. I semi-participate in only one other Christian forum and many times the important discussions get bogged down in brothers arguing the validity of modern day Israel, dispensationalist nonsense, and anti-/anti-Moedim nonsense, etc. It will be nice for me to be able to participate on a forum where the basic understanding of Holy things is a given.
My heart is really in things prophetic and eschatological so you will probably see most of my posts along those lines. And just to clarify, when I say "prophetic" I don't mean the multitudes of soothsayers in today's church. I'm talking about the real thing - a call to repentance to the people of God and to the nations.
So... yeah. I normally try to be a lot more concise. So, don't always expect such a wordy post from me.
I look forward to getting to know you all better and seeing the work of the Spirit in you and in us as one Family.
