Hello and Shalom. I'm a new fellow here who has just been allowed access. Thank you! I am looking forward to reading the posts, and hearing from others who are believers in Yeshua.
I'm a person who accepted Yeshua, as you call Him from the Hebrew, a long time ago. It was in 1971 when I was nine years of age, a week approximately after my ninth birthday. I was baptized, (given a mikvah), the next evening. Our church was having revival services, and the pastor of the church thought it would be a good thing to do during the revival services, if I recall correctly. I have been a Christian ever since, although I have had to learn a few things the hard way in order to stay a Christian.
I'm now in the Assemblies Of God, in my small city where I live, somewhat close to Kansas City.
Although I have been to a Messianic Synagogue a few times, we have been attending where I am currently for a number of years, and have seen God move within the church setting where I currently attend. I must say, it was interesting to me, that there are those who are faithful to Yeshua, and are Jewish in culture and tradition. I think the overall church could learn something from this, get back to their Jewish Roots so to speak. I do believe it's good that the Assemblies Of God as an organization are making an effort to reach all people including people of the Jewish culture.

Welcome to Ahavat Elohim! There is no one here who is just a teacher, nor any who is here only to learn; rather we share and grow together in the goodness of our Messiah as we grow together and are often challenged in our understanding of His Word.
I very much appreciate your joining us. I hope that you will find a great benefit in what you find here, as well as share things that will bring us closer in our daily walk with Adonai, our God.

Shalom rlrmcb! I know I am a bit late in welcoming you...but, Welcome! It will take people from every denomination to become familiar with the Hebraic roots of the faith and take it back to their congregations and teach others. We are glad that you are here. May Adonai bless you and keep you, Reuel
