My name is of lesser importance. God changed my name to Deborah in 1995. Happily married for 25 years. We have two daughters. The four of us are saved, Spirit filled and belief that Christianity is more than just going to church, but having a relationship with the Lord is more important than anything else. We came from South Africa and lived in Israel for 5 years. We are living in Germany since November 2002.
Being a child of God we all have our "part" to do. My husband, Abraham, worked with airlines since 1972 and God used that as a vehicle in sending us where He wanted us to be, and be salt and light. The companies itself never sent him, but on our vacations, we always went to different places and while on vacation, we ministered to people.
We went to Bible school, but papers never meant much to us. God is the one who enables us (all of us). Abraham worked for South African Airways and Comair in South Africa until 1997 and then God sent us to Israel. He worked for a company in Israel until November 2001. Our season in Israel is over and God is sent us to Germany.
I gave my life to God when I was 5 years old and ever since then knew that I belonged to God. Only from 1985 the Holy Spirit started teaching my about "having a relationship with God". I am still learning and the more I learn the more I realize how much I need Him.
The Anointed One and His Anointing, Jesus the One who died on the cross and rose again for my sins, blessed me. Saved me, healed me, delivered me, set me free and made me whole. Preordained that I shall live the good live. Filled my life with good things. Blessed my storehouses and I am on my way up and not down. I am on my way up to a higher ground. The Lord has been mighty good to me.
I ask God "why" so many times in my live that I came to a point in live that the questions overwhelmed me. Then I realized that I have to thank God for who and what He is and my live changed. I came to God with thanksgiving. Like David, I'm asking: "Who am I, O Lord God? And what is my house, that You have brought me this far?" God answered me through His Word. Like David I pray:
For Your word's sake, and according to Your own heart, You have done all these great things, to make Your servant know them. Now, O LORD God, the word which You have spoken concerning Your servant and concerning her house, establish it forever and do as You have said. And let the house of Your servant Deborah, be established before You. For You, O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, have revealed this to Your servant, saying, "I will build you a house.' Therefore Your servant has found it in her heart to pray this prayer to You. And now, O Lord God, You are God, and Your words are true, and You have promised this goodness to Your servant. Now therefore, let it please You to bless the house of Your servant, that it may continue before You forever; for You, O Lord God, have spoken it, and with Your blessing let the house of Your servant be blessed forever. Amen. (2 Samuel 7:18 - 29).
