Ever since I started walking with God I started being low keyed and making a concentrated effort to be kind to everyone no matter the circumstance, one thing I have always noticed is people tend to want to walk over me. Some especially here in my household think they can talk to me and treat me any way they want because I am now a gentler person. Also whenever there should be a verbal confrontation I choose to humbly bow out but problem with any situation is people know I won't fire back at them now which is why they feel they can talk to me in any manner.
I keep telling them do not mistake my kindness for weakness but....
Is this the same with you and if yes how do you handle this please? I know we have righteous anger but I try to not go that route.

It's the same with everyone. If you let people walk on you, they will!
Kindness, gentleness, and even love have their limits; and when people abuse you because of your kindness, they have exceeded those limits greatly! We don't have to be crude or abusive, but all through the Bible God's people stood against their oppressors, even to the point of killing them whenever necessary. You do not have to allow people to be verbally or physically abusive to you, nor do you have to allow them to take advantage of you.

Thanks, even yesterday after I wrote this, I had a "few" issues with people here as they were repairing the front of the house, starting with I was "ordered" to help by my mom so I was at odds with her all day yesterday. The truck driver who had come to pick up the Garbage I had to try very hard from telling him off as 2 examples.
I think the main issue I have with anyone who says things which is not right is "do not repay evil with evil", seems to me there are some scriptures which are what's preventing me from firing back at people.
