one person's advice and another's advisory ..... we will be sticking with Dr. Seuss. I hope the section on burn treatments and pain meds came right after the section on homemade fireworks.

Alright, I do have a serious question in line with this topic. I am curious what makes household cleaners kosher or not....is it something I should be more concerned about? Dish soap, laundry detergent and cleaners are not edible and therefore there is no requirement for them to be "kosher". However, it is a custom to use kosher dish soap with cooking utensils that come into contact with it. However, if you accidentally use non-kosher soap, the dishes still are kosher. Interestingly enough, some companies ask for hechshers even though their product doesn't require it because they believe it helps sell the product to the non-Jewish population.
