1 Cor 13:8, 9 “Love never fails; but if there are gifts of prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part;”

I’ve known a fair many loveable (sort of) old coots who were really gifted hell-fire-and-brimstone preachers . Now, I know I get down on mainC, but I never said they didn’t have their good points. This is one of the things I really miss today in both church and synagogue. There are few of these guys left, and their legacy is dying with them. Seems people today can’t hear the truth spoken forcefully. But there are times when it just needs to be told and in no uncertain terms!

I guess there’s no real point to this. Just the ramblings of an old Shamaimite who’se “lost touch” with the “real world.” Or, could it just be that, just maybe … ?
