Another situation that I am dealing with. Do you at times believe that no one believes you when you tell them things? Rather it be the word of God or something real simple? If so I can so much relate to you. It can be frustrating at times. All the time, but I gotta admit I don't usually deal with it as good as you do. Dan C
I know that just reporting symptoms to a doctor that they do not have an answer to is almost always pooh-poohed, while both material and non-material observances raise a lot of scepticism in others, simply because they are not open to new thoughts. Sometimes just talking about Abba as He is makes other's think you are nuts, and yet, having G-d is not a new idea...just foreign to a lot of people these days.
Who is questioning you, and what type of question is it?

Questor,
I would probably say both. The enemy is an accuser and yes there are times that God will test us to see how we will react to it. Also it is to build our character and to strengthen our trust in God. I see it on all angles. And yes it is frustrating to say the least. Many a time I wanted to lash out but God is now saying no. Let me deal with it. For doesn't God say, "Vengeance is mine?"

Alon,
In all honesty it is not easy for me to be quiet when someone falsely accuses me of wrong-doing. But I am learning with God's help and strength. It is hard. Yet I do see Him working in the situation.

When I am told I am sinning, it is so much different if I am. Ain't that th' truth- if I'm going to be accused of sinning, kind of seems like I ought to at least get to enjoy the benefits of it! I know that just reporting symptoms to a doctor that they do not have an answer to is almost always pooh-poohed, ... See, I am going to be nice and not say anything about them sorry, low down ... them doctors. I get much better advice from NP's, PA's, psychiatrists ... even the phlebotomist gives better advice! I won't see a doctor between Seattle and Spokane. Period. I got banned from one hospital and almost from a couple of others by telling the doctors just what I think of them. My wife- she is so mad at me anything I say she pretty much disagrees with on principle. And saying what I don't agree with about her doctrine to get her to disagree doesn't work, because it isn't so much what I say with her as what she gets in her head I said! Furthermore, while I am gone to anything Messianic, she often sits and has these arguments with me in her head, then it is just like it happened! mainC types- I've been called everything from a Judaizer to a heretic. Most often I am ignored. But sometimes they listen, and even remember! I can think of a half dozen just off the top of my head who are bad about calling names or trying to argue. Other times I've been stabbed in the back by "brothers" for their own ends. We had a good men's group that was just destroyed by two of these; and I had absolutely nothing to do with it other than being the target. I never said anything against them to anyone, because I wanted the group to continue, even if it meant I had to step aside and allow them to slide by. But it didn't happen that way, and my conscience is absolutely clear on this one. the world- obviously. But they aren't as bad as some of the mainC folk. And let's face it, it isn't about winning an argument with them; it is about where they will spend eternity. The only winner or looser there is them. Hate it that they won't listen, but in the end it is between them and God, not me. cults- actually, the Mormons and JW's will usually listen and discuss things. But we obviously disagree. Other cults, not so much but not so many of them either. "Messianics"- in quotes because they only fly the flag, but they do not believe as I think a true Messianic believes. To wit: they deny the eternal diety of Yeshua. We are all cordial but adamant in questioning the others beliefs. and last, but certainly no least- family- they are my family and they are all Southern Baptist. What would you expect to be the result of this!? Ah, well, as James 1:2 says, "My brethren, count it all joy ... !" Dan C
