There is word of miraculous healing all through the Bible, but nowhere is God required to heal. Even in the verses you reference here, the promise is one of negative action. God promises NOT to make them ill with the plagues He put on Egypt (most of which were not sicknesses), if they met the conditions of the covenant they were making. "If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes,". This is the language of relationship, of covenant. |

And I certainly do fit that description where you are concerned. Everything you post is so diametrically opposite to God's Word that it must be diabolical (that's a devil reference, btw) in origen. Water purification is my business. I notice those type things. Me, I'm just tired of carrying his water for him. Me and him, we talked on this before. He just don't think those details are important, yet he wants to be taken seriously and given respect ... bongo, you come here and instead of discussing, you argue and try to "lay down the law" to us. You won't listen to anything outside your own narrow "it's all good" doctrine. If you put it up, it is open for discussion. And if I don't so what, I still understand how it was meant (without the con text). Stop assuming and accusing. (Accuser? yet another definition?) Why do you say you left it off so I could search it? Either you are lying, or you are so consumed by hatred of me, presumably because I call your idol worship what it is, that you'd have everyone search it just to get at me. However, as with the Mosaic Covenant, there is a catch. We must trust in Abba totally...taking G-d's promises through the Scriptures and holding Adonai to His promises...with the full expectation of receiving each and every promise.
Yehoshua did no miracles at Notsri...there was too much unbelief. I have come to see that this is our problem now...we neither take Abba's Word for what He will do, nor do we hold Him to do it as we should. And although I have had more than my fair share of miracles already, I am impatient, and doubting, and untrusting as well, that I do not rest on His promises...nay, grab hold of them, and shake them in my fists and say to Abba..."You PROMISED"!!!
It is very true that I need to come up higher in my obedience...and I am learning to do so as quickly as my small mind will absorb what I am being taught. Abba knows me inside and out, and when it is that I will be ready for that full healing. I already have seen it, and I know the timing (though not the day or the hour), and the reasons for the timing, for as I am being trained to obey, I am being trained to uphold the healing after receiving it.
It is not a simple thing to remake a life that has been so badly spent, with so much time and energy wasted on all the wrong things, but I am learning to remake my life, and when I learn enough to stand under the burden of a complete healing is when I will receive it. And oddly, I have seen that I will receive it, and in this life, in this body. For me, it is to be a process of learning new ways of living...in conjunction with learning obedience to . |

And oddly, I have seen that I will receive it, and in this life, in this body. For me, it is to be a process of learning new ways of living...in conjunction with learning obedience to . questor, I can certainly relate to rebuilding a misspent life. The pastor in the AoG church I attend with the wife has a saying, “Sin will always take you farther than you ever wanted to go.” Like I always say, the truth is the truth, no matter who says it. It certainly took me for a ride to ruin. This site seems to be mostly mainC, with a bit of HR for spice. But they do have some good information. When our nation sought God, we prospered. Now, as we turn more and more away, our economy is tanking even as we struggle to meet health care costs brought on by our turning away fro God. What seems to be most strange about my ills, and how they are to be solved will be with the fruits of the earth, and the herbs of the field...and the minerals in rocks in conjunction with the Power of G-d...not the medical system. The economy will tank, and the medical system be less useful and less available...the people around us will crumble...but with Yehoshua, we can stand.
And as we stand for Him, against the world, Abba will have mercy on us singly, even as His wrath is stored up against the end of days that is so close, but we will alas suffer as a body of believers living in the midst of an idolatrous nation. |
