His teachings are consistent with Beit Hillel. Other than being against divorce, I know of no other teaching where Yeshua agreed with Beit Shammai. Perhaps you could provide references? Ironically, Yeshua's interactions with most religious leaders, themselves apparently of Beit Shammai, was purely Shammaimite! While I am sure Hillel could argue strenuously and persuasively, he was not so confrontational. Not a Talmudic scholar myself (as you know), I don't remember the specific ch. & vs.; but I was once told that Hillel said that he and his followers sometimes had to get out of the way and let the Shammaimites do their job- implying that pacifism was not always the way.
Perhaps you know the reference?

Hey guys, I just spent several hours replying to Yedidyah's post only to lose everything I wrote!!! Apparently my session timed out, and the site automatically signed me out! I didn't even know such a thing existed on a ProBoard? You have no idea how furious I am right now. How can this be avoided in the future?

I have had similar things happened and yes it is annoying to say the least It might help writing out your response in Microsoft Word then copy it onto the forum. I am sorry you lost the response. I've had the same thing happen to me on other forums in the past. In fact, at the rate of speed I type, it is quite a common occurrence for me! Have also lost things while trying to edit and clean up before posting. So I got in the habit to hit [ctrl A] then copy before taking any action.
