hello fellers, I wanted to ask if you have the same thoughts as me if not... that's cool. I have been thinking about what the Jewish people used to look like back then compared to today? Did they have hump noses? Did they have flat feet? I know this doesn't matter, but I would like to know what you think they looked like back then compare to now. Wouldn't it be cool if they has some sort of structure of what they used to look like Just ponder my thoughts here. I can imagine they had big noses like they did back then and was very dark. One thing's for sure the more I think about it the more I am intrigued by it

Shalom All, Not too intrigued but I'll comment. My take is they were darker complexion to protect from the sun, darker hair and possibly with several curls. Not very tall. Obviously, Hollywood is not your measuring rod, especially when depicting Yeshua. Micha'el

After 2000 yrs of dispersion, Jewish people tend to resemble those in the region where their family has lived the longest. My wife looks more German than Jewish, for example. It is truly one of God's miracles that they have survived as a distinct religion and a culture separate and distinct enough to be reassembled as a nation.

Thanks Alon. And 2000 years is indeed a long time. They didn't have cameras back then, imagine the horror if they did and they turn out looking like giants? just kidding. a silly humour there. ;D I like your last remark. G-d knows what he is doing, I'll just leave it at that. P.S. I think I am fascinated by it because it is G-d's chosen people and I want to know more about his people. Is that so wrong to wanting to know that? Shalom Shalom!

I remember once when I was in Israel I met a guy that looked just like a California surfer dude. Bleached blond hair, tan, blue eyes, about as gentile looking as you can get. Turns out he was descended from a long line of rabbis, although he himself was not very relgious.

Something to think about, David had red hair. I don't know to many darker skinned people who have red hair. I am dark blond, white as can be with blue eyes and yet I am Jewish by blood. My son is a red head and his favorite person to have us read about it David Shalom!

My son is a red head and his favorite person to have us read about it David Shalom! That is very interesting indeed. I was looking through some images of the twelve tribes of what they would have looked like. This is why I am interested in how they used to look like. This is history you know
