Everything about the Royal Wedding was very impressive, but I hope seeing those hats worn by British women won't give American women any ideas. Yikes!

You mean I have to start wearing women's hats? Won't people talk?

OK, but there's a small problem. The last women's hat shop in my city went out of business 40 years ago. Couldn't I wear my hair in a bun with a pink bow and be done with it? I think I'd look quite fetching (if not fashionable).

But American women aren't wearing hats. I think I'll open a store selling aprons. That's what America needs most - the homemaker. Women back in the home: cooking; baking; caring for children (and picking up my dirty socks). The homemaker was the backbone of our culture. How we need her today. And I'll try to sell only fashionable aprons.

i don't mind wearing hats. I kind of like them, i tell a funny but cute story. My mother and I went out to eat and she came over to pick me up, I couldn't drive due to my illness so i get ready and of C I have my hat on, well she walked in and had her hat on as well, now folks... my mother doesn't;t wear hats too often and I was quite shock but happy to see her wear one as I would not be the only one wearing it. So we started to drive toward the restaurant and she goes, I feel Jewish. HEHEH..... I told her, nothing wrong with being Jewish, *wink wink* ...she says I aint ready for that ... just yet. haha... my mom is so cute at times.

I like wild hats. Before I switched to a sheitl, I used to buy and wear some pretty outrageous hats to shul. Not the norm, but it was fun and a phase I went through for awhile.
