Since no one uses the chat room, maybe we should rent it out?

The chat room is where members can communicate directly with each other. When you're logged in, you'll see the chat button next to the "Logout" button.

Shalom v'brachot. Maybe the Chat room can be used during some of the studies, along side with your Live Streaming? People Like me that have no Community around me can ask question. For I live in the Yukon and the closes community of people to fellowship with is a 2 day drive. I thank HaShem for this community being there for us..

... I live in the Yukon and the closes community of people to fellowship with is a 2 day drive. I thank HaShem for this community being there for us.. 2 days away ... and I was whining about 2 1/2 hrs- then I find out there is a new synagogue only 1 hr. away! Guess I should count my blessings, huh? If you're there meet me over in chat (that assumes I can find it, figure out how to use it, and the server doesn't go down again. It's 9:20 here in Washington state. Give me a couple of minutes ... Dan C edit: nope, doggoneit, he went offline. edit2: I need Java anyhow ... oh well.

Shalom Miykhael,
During our weekly studies at the synagogue it is too distracting for me to do live chat as well, but feel free to ask questions here on the forum in the appropriate area if there is a question or comment that you have associated with one of our studies.
Shalom uv'rachot aleychem,

During the class on Hebrew on Tuesday night from 6:00 till 8:00 and wednesday night during TANAK talk from 6:30-730ish. I will try to bring my laptop and log onto chat room.. I do participate but will try to multi- task and covey questions and comment to the group!! Hope this will help any long distant participant feel like they are participating and involved.

*\(◕‿◕)/* Wheeeeee *\(◕‿◕)/* Shalom and Blessings to all.. There are time we have sat in the chat room, while we have been studying or just reading. we have never seen anyone ever come in while we have been on. We have sometimes sat in there for a couple of hours alone. We wouldn't mind having more interactions with Believers. We are the only believers in our area. So it is important for us to have more interaction with other believers in order for us to Grow.

When I'm fast asleep most of you guys are busy working .

I guess I didn't really notice the chat feature here, perhaps I did before and forgot about it. I don't come on these forums as much as I should.

I've been eager to find a stable, active Messianic forum in which to talk to and learn from the Messianic viewpoint. Unfortunately, in my experience, I have had exceptional trouble in finding such a forum. It's literally a desert out there. And most "Messianic forums" I have seen are dominated by Christians or just Christian forums in incognito. This forum represents the closest thing to my goal that I can find. Absolutely agree!!! I left a forum not long ago that was very active and had a very broad representation of the Messianic community. I really had to use a lot of discernment when talking with many of them. However it was on a "Christian" site, and many of the mainstream people there resented our presence, even though we were on a sub-forum which had no interaction with them unless they came to us- "in fellowship," of course ... ! The dispensationalists all but took over the Messianic sub-forum, and it just got to be more trouble there than it was worth to me. I wasn't really learning any more, and like I said a lot of what was there was not right (being very polite there). This forum here is no longer very active. A good part of why is they have very high standards. Most people go where they are free to say anything they want, so many do not last long here. I've been called on rules/doctrinal violations myself, and in no way resent it. Wouldn't have it any other way any more. My hope is that in time more will come here and stay. Meantime, there is a LOT of really good information in the archives. If solid knowledge is what you want, there's enough there to sustain you in the dry spells between current discourse. At any rate, shalom and welcome. Hope to exchange ideas with you in the days and months to come. Dan C
