Shalom Todah Yeshua! Good to hear from you brother. HalleluYah that people are not only being delivered, but they are learning to serve their Master!...As we both know that faith without works is dead. I will continue in prayer for their sanctification. Shalom b'Yeshua HaMashiach, (Peace in the name of Yeshua The Messiah) Reuel

Too many people rely on leadership in the congregation to do the work of the ministry. Every single member of the body of Messiah needs to get off their blessed assurance and do the work of The Kingdom of Heaven. How are you furthering the Kingdom of Heaven today? In this discussion please either share what you are currently doing for the Kingdom of Heaven, or simply discuss how you may start doing this. Shalom, Reuel I attend an AoG church on Sunday, though I keep Shabbat as best I can also. There I lead a support group for those suffering from chronic illnesses. When I started it, I'd hoped it would reach out into the community. However we are barely keeping our regular meetings going and helping each other. I try and keep it meaningful, but it's frustrating to work on presenting a message to them and have only one show up at times. On the other hand, maybe I'm the one God wanted to get the message to when I researched it ... and I always try and let the Ruach take charge! There have been times we had 6-8 people but the meeting took off a different direction and I just put my notes aside. Another thing I'm involved in, seven of us are about to finish a 9 mo. course on a men's ministry by Dr. Ed Cole. We are all actively planning and reaching out to other churches to keep this going and train up others. It's amazing to be a part of. I find little to disagree with pastor Cole on, and he comes close to getting downright Messianic on us several times, then always sort of falls back in the mainstream pile. LOL, they get quite a bit of Messianic doctrine from me any way, as it is set up for discussion and is non-denominational. I'd rather be putting all my efforts under the authority and tutelage of a good Messianic congregation, but there's not one close so I do what I can where I can. I got the pastor of the Nazerine church here to go to a Seder in Wenatchee with me. I was (typically ) enjoying the food, and next thing I knew I looked up and he was up talking to the rabbi. He's got them scheduled to do a Seder at the church here next year! Hey, it ain't Jerusalem, but it'll do! Dan C

Shalom All, The Word says in Matt 12:30`He who is not with me is against me, and he who is not gathering with me, doth scatter. This verse is key when we examine ourselves. I choose to be a gatherer for Yeshua. All that I say and do is in the view of many believers and non-believers. I don't wish to ramble about what I do, because I can only do because He provides the strength. After all is done, It's the least I can do. Micha'el

In this discussion please either share what you are currently doing for the Kingdom of Heaven, or simply discuss how you may start doing this. Shalom, Reuel I've been involved in several good ministries in the AoG church where I go with my wife 6 days before Shabbat. All of these call on men to serve, to be counted as men and leaders. All also come just short of being Messianic. So even though I am mostly carrying all the men's group activities there, I was glad to do it. However lately God has been leading me away from these ministries- let's face it, a hair short is still short of the mark. So as my current obligations expire I am backing off, saying no and moving away from mainC ministries. The only one I may keep is the one that ministers to those with chronic pain, disabilities and suffering. I am trying to study more now while praying that God will show me His plan for me. I'd like to start a Messianic or possibly HR study group here, but there just isn't the interest so far. In fact, now that I am actively seeking to move to Messianic ministry away from any mainC church, I am alienating more people every time I speak. My wife is more than a little upset with me as well. So if you should think about it, please pray that God will show me what He wants me to do. Pray also for a softening of my wife's heart and that He'd bring to me the person or persons He wants to be involved. Dan C

At the moment, to further the Kingdom, I am doing as YHVH has directed. I write as I was commanded to attempt to explain things that I have learned to those who have not yet learned the same things on this Site, and on others as the Ruach draws me; I also am learning to write fiction that there may be another book or two in the world that tells a good story, but does it with a observant Believer as a protagonist in mainC surrounding; I pray for those in need, those I know, and those I will never know; I tithe to and give funds to Missionary groups to the Jews in Israel through a Synagogue I am an honorary member of; I give alms to the poor regularly, and help my less fortunate Brothers by offering them work as I have funds...but I do not know that this furthering the kingdom as I am not personally involved except on a one to one basis for those that need a listening ear, as I am somewhat limited by my disability. It does not seem like very much when I am doing it, but as the future opens to me more opportunities, I will take them.

LROL! If you want any good material/ideas/stories/good whines, PM me! Dan C Okay, I will! I was given a hint yesterday by the Holy one that I should stop saying Observant to Christians...and instead say 'Coming up Higher in my walk"! So much for speaking openly! And it's weird, the more I commit to Observance, the less I am finding in common with my friends, and I think it's all because I still need to use Christianese. Oh, and 'Being more like Yeshua' is a lot better than saying pointedly, "But that's against !" HAH!
