This version has been a blessing in my own study, I have been comparing passages with the other versions that I have; I have completed comparison of these versions of the , and I am about halfway through the Nevi'im. I've noticed subtleties in the text that I had missed before. I can't wait for The Messianic Prophecy Bible, If it is at the very least equal to the HRV it will also be well worth the cost. I don't believe it will use the Hebrew characters for the Father or Yeshua. But, I believe it will use the Hebrew spelling of names. Let's try to keep this thread focused on the Messianic Prophecy Bible Project.

At the last leadership meeting of our congregation, I was finally able to get a commitment for monthly support of this all important work.
Everyone of us should be encouraging all those in the Messianic Movement to support this project, so that we might see it swiftly come to fruition.
I am excited.
Shalom,
Yitzchak

They keep on pusing back the release date to do a lack of funding. The current release date is....
21 months (Sep 2007)

What finally happened with this precious project? I would really like to purchase one of this editions if possible. Or if you can recommend any other version similar to this that I can adquire. Thanks.

I've been giving to this ministry for a while now, ever since I heard of it. Any way to get an update on their progress? I get the Parsha every week from them, as well as ministry updates. But haven't heard about a date for printing. This is a very worthwhile ministry. I hope everything is still on track. Dan C

I also gave to this ministry work, and nothing ever came of it. They supposedly have been working on it for around ten years now. I really can't say what is going on, but they stopped returning my e-mails and phone calls as I was trying to find out what was going on...so I stopped supporting this ministry. I don't know what the status is now...are they telling you anything as to a finish date? I should be getting a copy when they finish as I sponsered a chapter (Tehillim/Psalm 119) of this new Bible version...but, something tells me that I won't be receiving it any time soon, if at all.

B"H ...are they telling you anything as to a finish date? No, all I get is the parsha, news and "ministry updates"- mostly stories of people they are witnessing to in Israel. And of course requests for donations, including sponsoring a chapter in their Bible. I'm sorry to hear that they aren't answering your e-mails and the poor prognosis on their completion of the project. I give to Jewish evangelism both here and in Israel, but I try to be a wise steward and give where it will do the most good. And I'm on disability, so it isn't like I have a lot of excess cash laying about to use extravagantly. So I may have to reevaluate my giving here. Really sorry to have to consider that though. Dan C

I would try a few more times to contact them...perhaps you will have better success than I. But, if no one returns an e-mail or no one picks up the phone and you cannot get any confirmation that they are still actively working on the Bible...I would certainly re-think giving to them.
